Hi, I’m Abby, and welcome to The Frosted Vegan!
I’m a self taught, tasting, experimenting, baker with a hunger for modifying the delicious and taste for happiness through love and food. Although I work a 9-5 desk job, my favorite part of the day is coming home to bake my heart out. I recently moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I’ve found an amazing amount of inspiration through the diverse food culture.
My favorite place is over the Kitchen Aid, covered in flour/powdered sugar/batter in yoga pants or a favorite pair of too fancy shoes while trying to keep the kitchen from looking like a bakery exploded. I follow a mainly vegan, plant strong method of eating and all the recipes posted here will be primarily vegan or have a vegan modification.
Food and baking has always been a huge part of my life with my mom, dad, lovely mister, and my inspiring friends always willing to taste test and reap the benefits of a passionate baker! My goal is to make vegan baking and cooking more accessible and less intimidating. I grew up watching my grandma roll out paper thin home made noodles and my dad bake pungent fresh bread on a lazy Sunday, so my passion for food as always played a huge part in my life!
