Hi, I’m Abby, and welcome to The Frosted Vegan!
I’m so happy you found my little place on the internet! I follow a mainly vegan, plant strong method of eating and all the recipes will be primarily vegan or have a vegan modification. I grew up on brownies every few nights, cakes for birthday (always) and chocolate chip cookies were always lurking around the kitchen somewhere. My grandmother made the best coffee cake around and my dad always had a knack for the perfect red velvet cake, so desserts were always a must while growing up!
When I went vegan, I thought my days of perfect cakes and flaky pastries were gone for good. I want to show vegans and non-vegans alike that even if you are eating vegan or plant based, you can still enjoy a lovely and delicious dessert, without the hassle. The Frosted Vegan is a cultivation of love and passion for mainstreaming the vegan culinary approach. I want my readers to recreate a recipe and proclaim “That is vegan?! But it’s so good!”. Vegan food is wholesome and delicious, as well as accessible and easy.
